Nepal is in a political crisis after President Vidyadevi Bhandari dissolved the country’s parliament on Sunday on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
At the same time, the President of Nepal announced that the country will hold two rounds of elections on April 30 and May 10, almost a year ahead of schedule.
Disputes between Nepal’s ruling Communist Party Nepal (NCP) led to the dissolution of parliament and the announcement of early elections.
