Covid-19 second wave has started in the United States. Covid-19 affected cases spreading at a rate of more than 4 percent in 40 zip codes in New York City.

Recently, a new record of coronavirus identification has been set in the US. The situation in New York is becoming more fragile. It’s spreading anxiety across the state.

New York City all schools have been closed since November 19 because Covid-19 infections have become dangerous.

Mayor Bill de Blasio said the decision was made because the city’s corona infection rate exceeds 3 percent. This holiday will continue in the educational institutions of the city till ‘Thanks Giving Day’.

The New York Daily News reports that a report was released from New York City Hall on November 20. Corona infections are spreading at a rate of more than 4 percent in 40 zipcode areas of New York City, the report said.

According to the report, corona infections are most prevalent in the Rockway of Zipcode 11697. In the last 7 days, the result of the Covid-19 test in this area is 9.6 percent positive.

Queens’ Ozone Park ranks second in terms of transmission in the 11416 zip code. In the last 7 days, the result of the Covid-19 test has been 7 percent positive. And in Tottenville, Staten Island, the corona infection rate is 6.3 percent.

Bill Neidhardt, the mayor’s press secretary, said in a tweet that it was now clear that the Covid-19 community in New York City was being infected.

On November 20, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said the restaurant’s indoor dining, gym and hair salon had been closed again due to an increase in corona infections. No more than four people can sit at one table in the restaurant’s outdoor dining room.

Earlier, at a news conference on November 18, the mayor said that all educational institutions in New York City have been closed since November 19 because of the dangerous nature of the coronavirus infection.

According to state officials, coronavirus tests were performed on 205000 people in the state on November 19. Of these, 2.9 percent have been positive. The previous day, November 18, the rate was 2.7 percent.
