Coronavirus cases are growing at an alarming rate in the US state of Michigan.
Yesterday, the Michigan Department of Health and Social Services reported that 35 people had died of coronavirus cases that day. And the infection has been identified in 3,338 people.
This is the highest number of coronavirus cases detected in a single day. Earlier, on October 15, the highest number of infections detected in a single day was 2,030. The Michigan State Department said in a statement that the death toll had risen over the past five days.
In Michigan, 7,182 people have died of coronavirus cases so far and 1,58,026 have been identified. On October 23, more than 53,272 people were tested in the state. Of these, 2,873 positive reports have been received.
