Chinese COVID-19 vaccine trial successful after use of the vaccine to the patient’s body in Saudi Arabia.

King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) recently signed an agreement with China’s Sinovac Biotech.
The company received 7,000 vaccines from the Chinese vaccine manufacturer. The vaccines were administered to 7,000 health workers in the country.
The third phase of the vaccine tested on the King Abdullah Center’s National Guard has been completed, Arab News reports.
The test did not show any health complications, allergies or serious side effects from the volunteers. Those who were vaccinated only had a mild fever or a mild migraine.
Aref al-Amri, head of the biomolecules and cytogenetics department in Riyadh said mild side effects are normal after being vaccinated against a virus.
KAIMRC is among the 10 organizations in the world that have been selected by the World Health Organization, CEPI and NIBSC for testing and reviewing COVID-19 vaccines in the global vaccine initiative.
