Yemen’s Houthi rebels have launched again the drone attack at Saudi Arabia’s southwestern Abha International Airport. Yemeni Houthi rebels movement leader Ansarullah has confirmed the attack.
The barbaric aggression that Saudi Arabia has carried out against Yemen. In retaliation, the Houthis have repeatedly carried out the drone attack in Saudi Arabia’s oil plant and airport.
The Saudi-drove Arab League recognized the automaton strike on Friday. But they claim, they have been able to destroy a drone loaded with explosives.
Saudi Arabia’s state news agency SPA said the drone had been shot down from the skies at Abha Airport and its wreckage had fallen on the airport. However, no casualties were reported.
A spokesman for the Arab parliament, Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami said in a statement on Sunday that “such terrorist attacks must be stopped by the Houthi rebels in Yemen out of concern for the safety of lives and property at the airport.”
Last month, Yemen’s Ansarullah movement and its allied forces carried out drone strikes on a key oil complex in Saudi Arabia’s southern province of Jizan. At the time, the Arab League claimed that it had shot down four missiles and 6 drones loaded with explosives.
