Former Facebook Chief Security Officer (CSO) Alex Stamos, will Join the video calling Zoom app as a Security Advisor. He is joining as a consultant, not as an employee. He will provide guidance on how to keep Zoom safer.
He himself confirmed this in a Medium post on Wednesday. There, he made several tweets last week about the challenges and solutions to Zoom’s security. Seeing these, Zoom founder and CEO Eric Yuan contacted him over the phone. There are various discussions about the security of the zoom. Alex is fascinated by Yuan’s efforts to maintain the transparency of the platform. After the talk, he decided to join the zoom by responding to the call of the Eric Yuan.

It should be noted that Alex Stamos, Facebook’s head of security for the world’s most popular social media, resigned from Facebook. He faces analysis for considering the occurrence of a “security break.”
