The smartphone industry is facing huge losses due to coronavirus. According to Strategy Analytics, sales of new smartphones around the world have dropped by almost 38 percent in February-March compared to last year.
While 100.57 million smartphones were sold in February and March last year. But, The sales were only 61.8 million in February and 34.1 million in March 2020. The rate of decline in sales is also the biggest decline in the history of the smartphone market said Neil Moston, executive director of the SmartTechnologies Research Institute.
