China-Myanmar Conflict

The South Asian country is not having any relations with any neighboring state. At the end of this series, Myanmar has begun to crack down on relations with its best friend China. China is currently the only ally in Myanmar in the Rohingya issue. Experts think that the China-Myanmar conflict will have a profound impact on the international context.

An explosive comment was made recently by China’s military spokesman, Mayo Min Soo, who recently provided arms to an anti-government rebel group in the country. China, however, rejected this claim. China has always been friendly towards Myanmar, the country said. In that case, such direct allegations are offensive.

Meanwhile, Myanmar’s military spokesman said Wednesday (November 27) that direct allegations against China over the issue were being used by members of a group of extremist organizations called the TNLA, supported by the country’s Ta’ang population, including RPG launchers and FN6. Most of those weapons square measure created in China. Apart from the larger autonomous regions of Myanmar, the active activities of the organization were noticed in several areas along the border, he said.

The rebel is using the lightweight lightweight powerful Shan State FN6 Surface-to-Air Missile Launcher, which costs about $90,000, according to the country’s military search data. China is the only manufacturer of these missile launchers.

According to the data of the international market as well as the black market of the arms, it is estimated that the missiles made in China are also exported to Malaysia, Cambodia, Sudan, and Pakistan. They have also been used in the Syrian civil war. That is, if China does not supply these missiles anywhere in their direction, they are not likely to reach the TNLA rebels in any other way.

It is mentioned that the Rohingya attacked the Muslims in the northwestern Rakhine state of Myanmar by armed forces and police in Myanmar the year 2016-17. Myanmar authorities have accused the innocent Rohingya Muslims of gross human rights violations, including murder, genocide, arson and child murder.

The incident is one of the worst massacres in history. Also, the country produces illegal weapons, narcotics. As a result, Asia is among the worst and most extremist countries.

Not only that, Myanmar has claimed China’s role as a means of financing rebel groups along with its armed forces.

According to sources in the Myanmar administration, the rebel group is earning huge revenues from local and foreign companies through local taxes, drugs, extortion and conducting their own businesses. Insurgents have become involved in any such issue with China, the country’s military’s ideas.

In this regard, a responsible official of the Myanmar government told Maj. Gen. Ton Tun Nipitieu, “Where do they get the money to buy all these weapons?” The only answer is, they will probably get money from drugs or natural resources.

A close source of the rebels claimed that the group had bought weapons from the Wo and Kachin army, who allegedly had their own weapons factory in China. Which are operated by Chinese technicians.

Meanwhile, in a meeting with China’s Special Envoy to China, San Guochiang, Myanmar’s military chief, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, alleged that the rebels in the north were buying weapons from China.

Less than two weeks ago, in a private interview with Japan’s Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper, Min Aung Hlaing said that Myanmar’s rebels had received arms directly from China, but it was not known in detail. However, the most feared cause for Myanmar is the country’s most modern and powerful insurgent army, the United Wa State Army (UWSA).

UWSA

Myanmar claims it is the strongest ethnic army in the country. The UWSA army is now equipped with state-of-the-art weapons, which directly accuse China of being responsible for Myanmar. The army is currently purchasing weapons from Russia, India, Pakistan, and Ukraine as well as China. Western countries have imposed sanctions on Myanmar’s armed forces. However, in the past, most of the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden sold weapons, heavy military equipment, etc.

On the other hand, the government of Myanmar has demanded that China gradually restrict its territory to various issues during the development of bilateral projects and strengthen bilateral relations with Myanmar. Also, China’s involvement in various proposed projects, Myanmar’s economic disaster, said the Aung San Suu Kyi government.

Army leaders are monitoring the rise and fall of Myanmar’s civilian government relations with Beijing, as several major Chinese projects in Myanmar have already called for withdrawal. In many cases, the investment has been cut off. last year the proposal of $7.5 billion to set up deep seaports in Rakhine State reduced to just $1.3 billion.

However, in the context of China’s relations with the rebels and the supply of arms, local directors claim that Myanmar’s government and the military’s direct comments are finally breaking with Beijing.

Experts claim that China is silent on the work of several projects, despite the silence in response to such direct allegations in Myanmar. China is currently the only ally in Myanmar in the Rohingya issue. Experts think that the China-Myanmar conflict Myanmar will be one way away from Asia in the international context.
